Benedict Muasya, Commissioner in the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA), joined Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki at Kwa Mutonga Primary School for a major women empowerment initiative that attracted hundreds of women from the surrounding communities. The event aimed to foster economic empowerment and social development for women through organized groups and SACCOs.
Muasya, representing the CRA, emphasized the Commission’s dedication to equitable resource sharing across all counties. He praised the government’s ongoing investments in infrastructure, electricity connectivity, and programs designed to uplift women and youth from the grassroots.
Deputy President Kindiki reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting women’s empowerment as a central pillar of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda. He encouraged women to continue forming groups to access government programs that will strengthen their businesses and households.
