Chaos has erupted during the 46th annual general meeting of Kitui teacher sacco ltd ongoing at ithookwe primary school on 28th January 2023.The chairman of the sacco has force to pause his speech from the angry members for the several burning issues.
1.Change of the Sacco’s Name.
2. Serving retired Board of director Isiah Kilonzo Masya
3. Delegate system in the sacco.

Kitui Teachers Sacco was founded in 1976 by 11 members with the overall objective of according each other a place to save and borrow funds. Actual lending did not start until 1978.Initially, membership was restricted to teachers under the employ of the Government of Kenya; but the Society officially changed its by-laws and opened common bond in 2008 to absorb the employees from other government ministries and organizations.Today, the Society has over 32,024 active members.
Present are Tony Kilonzo – Vice Chairman, Muema Munyoki Sacco’s Treasurer, Isaiah Masya Hon Secretary and following members Alfred Mutua, Pheles Mathenge, Janet Kasina, Charles Muema and Samson Kinyaika.
