On May 8th, 2024, Hon. Peninah Malonza, the Cabinet Secretary for East African Community, ASALs, and Regional Development, welcomes Namibian President Nangolo Mbumba to Kenya. President Mbumba’s arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 3:40 pm marked the beginning of a significant diplomatic engagement between Kenya and Namibia.
CS Malonza’s presence as the escort of honor underscored the importance of President Mbumba’s visit, highlighting the strong ties between Kenya and Namibia. President Mbumba’s visit coincided with the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit convened by the African Union, further amplifying the significance of his presence in Kenya.
