Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli, the national Patron of Anzauni Clan and Founder of Kyalo Kya Maendeo CBO, has called upon the Ukambani leaders to shift their focus from divisive politics to a more development-centered approach.
Speaking on Monday 8th April 2024, in a TV interview, Dr. Muli emphasized the need for Ukambani leaders to prioritize the interests of the people over political gains. He expressed concerns about the current state of politics in the region, where divisive strategies often overshadow the genuine needs and aspirations of the community.
“Divisive politics only serve to create rifts and hinder progress,” Dr. Muli stated. “It’s high time our leaders come together, put aside their differences, and work towards a common goal of uplifting our community.”
Dr. Muli’s call for unity and collaboration comes at a crucial time when Ukambani is in dire need of sustainable development and effective leadership. He believes that by moving away from divisive politics, leaders can create an environment conducive to growth, innovation, and prosperity for all.
“As the national Patron of Anzauni Clan and the Founder of Kyalo Kya Maendeo CBO, I urge our leaders to embrace a new era of politics—one that is centered on the welfare of the people and the overall development of our region,” Dr. Muli added.
Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli’s plea for Ukambani leaders to abandon divisive politics in favor of a more collaborative and development-focused approach serves as a timely reminder of the importance of unity, cooperation, and genuine concern for the welfare of the community. It is hoped that his wise counsel will resonate with leaders across the region and inspire a positive change in the political landscape of Ukambani.
He has also emphasized the importance of constructive opposition and support for the government’s agenda. Contrary to the belief that being in opposition means opposing everything the government does, Dr. Muli believes that the role of the opposition is to hold the government accountable while also supporting its efforts to deliver on its mandate to the people.
“Being in opposition doesn’t mean we should not support the government’s agenda,” Dr. Muli stated in a recent interview. “We are called to hold the government of the day accountable for delivering its mandate to the people.”
