Endau Malalani Member of County Assembly Dr Erastus Mbuno on Friday 24th March 2023, officially launched completion of twin workshop at Ikisaya Vocational Training College (VTC) in Endau Malalani Ward, the first project county government of Kitui .
This was one of 100 days promise by Kitui Governor Dr Julius Malombe (EGH).
Speaking exclusively after he opened the VTC Mr Mbuno Stated that “I am proud on behalf of Endau Malalani people, I applaud and appreciate H.E Governor Malombe for considering this ward”.
The VTC is fully operational offering following course; Masonry, Tailoring and dress making, Hair dressing and beauty therapy.
According to Dr Mbuno, the collage has already admitted 15 students and is open for admission for more students.
“I take this opportunity to welcome parents of Endau/malalani ward and other wards to bring their children to this college so that they can get skills which will help them to be not only competitive but also competent in the job market,” He added.
Present during the official launch was Hon.Mwikya Mweu former Eastern mp,Former Endau/malalani councilor Hon.Wambua Mulwa, Kitui East subcounty administrator Mr.Daniel munyotto, Endau/malalani ward administrator Mr.Michael Mbuvi, Ward Development committee chairlady Mrs Esther Katinda Muange, Malalani location senior chif Mr.Wambua Kisilu, Malalani/Syou village administrator Mr.David Wambua, Syou sublocation assistant chief Mr.Michael Kitungu and Retired senior Assistant chief Syou sublocation Philip Munyambu among other community leaders as well as the parents.
