Kitui west youth leader and founder of Vincent Munyoki Foundation, Dr Vincent Munyoki expressed shock over the alleged move to withhold results for all the 2023 KCSE candidates at St. Mulumba Matinyani Boys Secondary School.
Dr Munyoki asked the KNEC to fast-track the investigation into the suspicion of alleged examination malpractice and give a verdict by January 20.The school is found in Edith Nyenze’s Constituency.
The youth leader expressed his doubt on the said examination malpractices saying it was surprising that the results for a giant school that has been performing exemplary in KCSE could be blamed for malpractices.
“As a young Leader I will petition to courts to raise the responsibility or any malpractices in exams to KNEC and the ministry of education who’s mandate its to ensure credibility. It’s sole responsibility of KNEC to prepare, set, administer, mark, validate and release credible results to the children of kenya.
KNEC bares greatest responsibility to ensure credible examination administration. We expect the cartels in KNEC to face “Mambo ni Matatu“ consequences President Ruto deploys whenever he wants to deal with impunity in our country” he added.
