A middle aged man from Kathini area around Masinga dam in Machakos county has lost his life after the boat he was riding on capsized.
Musili Kavendela, an eye witness said the deceased was among four men who were said the be fishing in the dam.
“The boat they were riding on has capsized following strong winds,” he said.
Musili added that the four men managed to swim while the deceased drowned and efforts to search for his body are underway.
“The capsized boat has been removed from the dam but the body is yet to be retrieved from the dam,” he added.
