Five Bright But Needy Student In Kitui to Benefit from Cooperative Bank Sponsorship

Kitui Governor Dr Julius Malombe EGH (left) today hosted Kitui Branch Manager of the Cooperative Bank of Kenya Fred Musyoka who paid a courtesy on him at his office in Kitui.

The Cooperative Bank is giving full scholarships through the county government to 5 bright but needy learners joining secondary schools this year.

In efforts to boost the education sector, Governor Malombe’s administration has also allocated sh. 120 million for bursaries through the Pro Poor programme that will see needy learners access education and shape their future in the FY2022/23.

The Pro-poor program whose public participation started today on thursday 19th January 2023 at the village level Tomorrow on Friday at the ward level this week.
