Speaking during the thanksgiving mass held at Holy Family Kabati, Rev. Fr. Muthamba reflected on his two decades of service in the priesthood and the lessons he has learned about leadership and service. He highlighted the importance of nurturing unity and collaboration among leaders to ensure progress is evident not just in their immediate spheres of influence but across the nation. Fr. Muthamba stressed that leadership is a sacred duty that requires unwavering commitment to justice and fairness.
Also speaking during the 20th Priestly Ordination Anniversary celebration, Dr. Vincent Munyoki, Kitui West Youth Leader urged Kitui residents to foster love and respect within their families to curb cases of gender-based violence and femicide. He called on couples to resolve disagreements peacefully without resorting to conflict. Additionally, Dr. Munyoki advised parents to take advantage of the long holiday season to instill good morals and values in their children. He highlighted the need for vigilance against early pregnancies and drug abuse, emphasizing the critical role families play in shaping society.
The event, which brought together faithful from various walks of life, was a moment of gratitude and reflection for the parish and the larger community. Rev. Fr.
