Machakos governor Hon. Wavinya Ndeti on Monday 3rd April 2023, hosted a delegation from the National Gender and Equality Commission led by Dr. Chomba WA Munyi (MBS) at the governor’s office.
They held a Consultative meeting touching on the mutual role of supporting Persons living with disabilities to cope with the modern day challenges of navigation corruption hurdles ok their day to day activities.
“I assured the team of my government’s full support in the fight against discrimination of any kind through the relevant directorates in my administration.I have consistently taken the position that disability is not inability, and that all people irrespective of their gender or physical capabilities have equal entitlement.” Wavinya said.
