The county government of Machakos on Monday 3rd April 2023, has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korean NGO that will guide drilling, equipping and powering of a borehole at the Machakos G.K prison. The Korean NGO, I Love Africa led by Lee Chang OK, Will drill, equip and power the borehole.
In her remarks during the signing of MoU, Governor Wavinya Ndeti said that the borehole will not only serve the GK prison facility, but will also serve the neighboring community of the great people of Machakos County.
“I commend my CEC, Water, Catherine Mutanu,CO Guliye and the Water Irrigation Environment and Climate Change Department for the commendable job they have been doing towards actualizing my government’s agenda for accessible and clean water to the people of Machakos County.”County Boss Said.
