Member of County Assembly for Kivou ward Hon Sammy Munyithya is currently engaged in a series of activities in his ward.
As the year 2023 came to an end, the able MCA had organized a second edition football tournament across his ward, as Cardiffa Queens and Kyanika Fc emerging Champions as Girls in football while Kasevi Fc beats Isekele FC 3:0 Championed as the best football clubs of Hon Sammy Cup 2023, Finals held at Ithumbi Grounds, on 2nd January 2024.
Speaking during the finals, the Wiper county legislator said that the tournament is intended at tapping and nurturing talent, adding that football is a key avenue to create jobs for the youth it’s development and spurring it’s growths was one of his Manifesto
Hon Munyithya is among the best MCAs in the county supporting talents and empowering the youth to improve their livelihoods.
The tournament was graced by hundreds of football lovers who showed people were hungry for sports entertainment in Kivou ward.
According to the MCA, the tournament aimed to bring together the youth and inspire them through socialization.
