Hon SONKO and Mp KAKI Consoles with Ikanga family

Ikanga kyatune ward super MCA Hon. Cyrus Sonko consoled with the family of his late uncle PC John mutinda of Eldoret airport police station today on Friday,1st December 2023. Hon sonko was joined by kitui South mp Hon Dr. Rachael kaki among other dignitaries.

The two benevolent leaders pledged to support the family with Hon sonko pledging to secure gainful employment for the widow and the third time mp Kaki pledging to support the family’s first born son who has just cleared form four at makueni boys join University.

The super mca urged the mourners to pray, help and support the young family during their difficult times.

The police officer was laid to rest amidst tears, tributes, and a powerful display of unity among law enforcement officers.

There were touching speeches and a poignant gun salute as a final farewell to John Mutinda, who lost his life after complain about feeling unwell. As his comrades carried the casket, the haunting lyrics of Safiri Salama seemed to encapsulate the depth of emotions felt by those in attendance. Fellow officers formed a solemn parade before the gun salute, a customary honour bestowed upon fallen officers, resonated through the air, a final salute to their colleague.

Friends, family, and colleagues shared anecdotes that portrayed a man of integrity, humour, and a steadfast commitment to his duty. The speeches painted a vivid picture of a dedicated officer who had left an indelible mark on both the force and the community he served.
