Ikanga Kyatune MCA Hon cyrus sonko has urged youths from Kitui South Constituency to participate in leadership and governance matters.
He said since the youths make up a significant portion of society, they have a central and conspicuous role in supporting society’s progress and galvanising it’s sustainable developmental advancement.
“Youths are responsible for building the nation, transforming societies and making them fair and noble. Youths can improve the community and culture of society and ring new impetus in leadership”, He added.
He was speaking when he joined fellow youths drawn from the larger kitui south constituency for a youth empowerment workshop courtesy of the center for multi Party Democracy, event which was held in Athi ward at Goshens King centre chapel.
The event was organized by the nominated senator Hon Beth Syengo and attended by all Kitui South MCAs led by Hon. Boniface Kyalo Kimuli [Kanziko ward) Hon.Hussein Mwandia [Ikutha ward) Hon.Dominic mwamisi [mutha Ward), Hon Kieti Muthama AKA Othothea (Athi ward).
also in attendance was Hon. Onesmus kingi, Hon. Wakili Benard Kitindio among others.
