The super Ikanga Kyatune Member of kitui County Assembly Hon. Cyrus Musyoka SONKO on Thursday 14th December 2023, during ward forum urged his residents to prioritize their development needs by voicing them.
The county Lawmaker revealed that this was only possible if all residents attended and contributed during public participation forums.
“It is the constitutional right of every Kenyan to participate in public engagement forums. This is the only way that they are able to prioritize their development needs and ensure that their voice is heard,” he said.
He further added that “Public participation is key in government planning so as to ensure that the projects implemented by the government are what the public truly needs and will benefit them directly”.
He also commended his electorate for the unwavering support that has culminated to speedy development saying “LEADERSHIP IS EVERYTHING.The strides ikanga kyatune ward has made in such a short period are truly awe-inspiring. Witnessing these achievements serves as a powerful reminder of the boundless potential that lies within us, and fills me with so much hope for the future of our great ward and beloved County kitui.
