The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results for the year 2023 are finally out.
The 2023 KCPE results were released by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu at Mitihani House on Thursday, November 23.
While announcing the results, Machogu announced that the top candidate scored 428 marks out of a possible 500.
Only 8,525 out of 1,460,557 candidates scored over 400 marks in the 2023 KCPE examination, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu says.Machogu announced that English, Composition and Sign Language recorded an improvement in the 2023 exams as compared to 2022.
Male candidates performed slightly better in Maths and Science as compared to their female candidates.
