Wrangles in the county assembly of Kitui continues to take shape as the self proclaimed majority leader and majority whip coup failed miserably during yesterday’s special sitting.
The dissolute failed coup leaders left the proceeding of the house and went to sit outside the assembly after their mission aborted by the young and smart Speaker Hon Kevin Kinengo.
According to report from our top moles indicates that MCAs have Inaugurate removal from office of the Deputy Speaker who also is the MCA of Kyangwithya West Hon Chris Nzioka (Lion) by collecting of signatures whereby majority of MCAs are proposing Hon Cyrus Musyoka SONKO, MCA ikanga Kyatune and also the Chair Justice , Legal Affairs Committee, to be the next County deputy Speaker.
Various Leaders who spoke exclusively with Hopkin Reporter on the decision of Wiper Party to replace the majority leader with Hon Munyoki Mwinzi termed it’s as a family affair and uncalculated move.
“Hon Munyoki Mwinzi, MCA Kyuso ward, is a cousin and close relative to the Wiper Party leaders Kalonzo Musyoka. Giving him the Majority Leader position is ridiculous and amounts to nepotism because still the Deputy Governor Augustine Kanani is his first cousin”, He said.
From a quick analysis done by the senior Hopkin Reporter, shows that Wiper Party Leader Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has decided to share power in his home constituency Mwingi North, Where County Speaker Hon kevin kinengo, Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Deputy Governor Augustine Kanani and Majority Leader come from, Weakening Wiper party in other regions of the county.
