Kitui County Government Officers Induction Programme Enters Homestretch

All the newly appointed Kitui County Government officers; CECMs and COs are expected to report to their respective offices on Monday 27th February 2023 From Induction programme which was conducted at the Kenya School of Government in Nairobi.

Governor Dr. Julius Malombe, EGH, who graced the induction programme delivered a key note address to the new officers and urged them to prioritize efficient service delivery to the county residents.

In his remarks, the Governor emphasized on the delivery of Kitui promise and Transformation Agenda which is geared towards development that empowers the people, transforms and improves their standards of living and livelihoods.

The governor reminded the new officers that the realization of Kitui Promise squarely lies on their shoulders. He said the Promise is based on transformative, inclusive, equitable, consultative and participatory leadership.

Dr. Malombe noted that his administration is committed to ensuring a prosperous county with vibrant rural and urban economies where people enjoy high quality of life. “The people expect nothing but efficient service delivery. We must not let them down,” the Governor told his team that will help him in re-routing the battered county on the path of development and growth.

The county boss told his officers to take the induction programme seriously, saying it will arm them with knowledge and skills that will guide them in realizing the 16 sector priorities.
