Kitui Minority Leader and Miambani MCA, Hon. Alex Nganga, joined Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Dr. Alfred Mutua, at the National Job Recruitment Program held at Mulango Technical Vocational College. The program, aimed at providing meaningful opportunities for youth employment, marked a significant step towards addressing the challenges faced by young Kenyans in their pursuit of jobs. In his address, Hon. Nganga applauded Dr. Mutua for launching the initiative in Ukambani, a region often overlooked in national programs. He commended the CS for ensuring transparency in overseas job recruitment processes, thus protecting Kenyan youth from exploitation. Nganga concluded by recalling Dr. Mutua’s achievements as Machakos Governor, highlighting his transformative projects, particularly in infrastructure development. “We saw what you did in Machakos County when you were the governor, the only governor who was seen tarmacking roads,” he said.
