Kitui Speaker Kinengo Katisya on Wednesday 8th February 2023 led a section Members of County Assembly to attended the swearing-in of Kitui County 10 Executive Committee Members (CECMs) and the signing of the Leadership and integrity code by the 22 Chief Officers.
The swearing in ceremony led by Kitui Resident Magistrate Hon Justine Amoro Asiago ceremony held at the Governor’s Administration Block.
Speaking during the event graced by Governor Julius Malombe, Kitui County Commissioner Erastus Mbui, the Clergy, and other dignitaries.
Speaker Kinengo congratulated the newly sworn-in CECMs and Chief Officers who signed the leadership and integrity code urging them to serve the people of Kitui diligently. The Speaker affirmed that the Assembly is committed to working closely with the executive while doing the assembly role of legislation, representation, and oversight objectively for the goodwill of the people of Kitui.
