On Tuesday 9th May 2023, Kitui’s little known Samco Fc carried the day after smashes Wikilikye Fc 3 – 0 respectively while on the other hand Kids Starlets emerged champions by beating Mshale Ladies three nill in Siasa Place Tournament, first edition held at Kitui stadium, Kitui County.
Kitui township MCA Hon Daniel Ngoima Kimanzi and his Ikanga Kyatune counterpart Hon Cyrus Kisavi Kisavi Musyoka graced Siasa place community dialogue football matches.
In the baseline research report for “The Strengthening the Power of Youth Voices project”, the distribution of respondents from Kitui, Homabay, Busia, Kericho, Nairobi, and Lamu were asked about their awareness in democratic values and rule of law in politics.

The event was well attended by hundreds of youths who cheered up for their teams, Ambassador James Ngumbau, ACC Koinary, ACC Mercy, Musili Bravo Chamber of Commerce, among others.
