The Dubai based Kenyan businessman Hon Augustus Kyalo Muli on Sunday 19th March 2023 attended a football match between Kitui’s Dynamo Fm and Scotlanders team from Machakos.

Speaking exclusively with Hopkin Reporter after watching the full time soccer, Kyalo decries the terrible state of the stadium and shamed Ngilu’s goverment for taking kitui youths for a ride.

He has called Kitui electorates to be aggressive in the oversight role and further urged Kitui County Assembly to hasten the impeachment motion of the county Speaker Kevin Kinengo so that development to be on grassroots.

As long as the two arms of government are at logger heads , no development track is expected and the great people of Kitui will suffer.

“We must start by being accountable, and feel the pain of the citizen. It is not only shameful but annoying, for our youth to play in such a surface. The stadium’s pitch is dusty, has no grass and lacks an athletics tartan track, with an extremely poor drainage system,” Mr Muli said.

Among other pitiable elements, vandalised perimeter fence, poorly done toilets and annoying garbage around the Kitui Stadium.
