On Saturday 6th May 2023, hundreds of Mourners from Kitui Central converged at Kwa Ngindu Primary School to celebrate burial ceremony of the late Regina Muindi John, Grandma to Hon Augustus Kyalo Muli.
In attendance was Mwingi West Mp Charles Nguna, Kitui Central Mp Dr. Makali Mulu, Director Coordination State House Bonnie Musambi, a Section of MCAs, Chairman UDA Kitui county Banda , Clergymen among others
EULOGY
Mrs. Regina Muindi John was born in Mui Sub County, Kitui County in1933. She was the daughter of the late Mutambuki wa Mwai and the late Mbithe Mutambuki. She was the sister to Kalumu the late Masia, the late Muyathi, the late Kitivui, and late Mulike.
Like other girls of her age, Regina didn’t enroll in formal education. She helped her parents with the usual household chores. She, however, went
WORK AND SOCIAL LIFE
Mrs. Regina Muindi John lived a great life and was highly respected by herpeers for her hard work, and desire for discipline. She was especiallyknown for her generosity and good humour. She was always verypassionate about farming and insisted on going to the shamba even whenshe was not well. In her early days, she was a common site in the marketselling bananas to take care of herself and her family.
ILLNESS
Regina enjoyed good health most of her life and only started suffering from memory loss after a falling accident. She finally peacefully rested on Saturday, 22nd April 2023 aged 90 years.We who have been left behind by Regina are most grateful to God for the blessing that she was to everyone.
