Kyalo Muli Pledges Support for Kitengenezi’s Family

Augustus Kyalo Muli, the leader of the National Liberal Party (NLP) and national patron of the Anzauni clan, joined thousands of mourners in Mavui Village, Kyome Thaana Ward, to pay his last respects to the late Lucas Muthoka, popularly known as DK Kitengenezi. The funeral was attended by family, friends, and political leaders from across Kitui County, all gathered to honor the life of a man who played a significant role in local politics and community engagement. The somber occasion was filled with heartfelt tributes, reflecting the deep impact Kitengenezi had on those around him.

During his address, Hon. Kyalo Muli made a compassionate pledge to support Kitengenezi’s family by clearing his daughter’s outstanding school fees at Mbitini Girls High School. He assured the bereaved family that he would continue supporting the bright young girl until she completed her secondary education.

Lucas Muthoka was a well-known political influencer and a dedicated member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). His expertise in digital mobilization made him a key figure in local political campaigns especially during 2022 general elections, helping shape discussions and engage the electorate. Beyond politics, he was deeply involved in grassroots initiatives, using his influence to push for community development. Among those present were Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna (CNN), Former Cabinet Secretary Peninah Malonza, area MCA Alphonce Mukwaiyu, Director of the Tourism Fund Patrick Ngere, and other local leaders.
