On Saturday 18th March 2023,The celebrated Matinyani Boys’ Secondary School in Kitui West Sub-county hosts THANKSGIVING ceremony and the Annual General Meeting after emerging the top in Kitui County in terms of 2022 KCSE performance results.
The event attended by Kitui Governor Dr Julius Malombe (EGH) who’s also alumnus of the school.
According to the KCSE results released by the Minister of Education Hon Ezekiel Machogu, Matinyani boys high school had a mean of B plus (B+)The improvement school index was above 1.65.
The performance of Matinyani high school was very impressive based on the number of students, Matinyani had 240 students while St Lwanga boys had 199 students whose performance were very impressive.
The Improvement of Lwanga boys was 0.18 school’s Index while Matinyani boys had 1.65 index score.
Matinyani boys high school is among the top ten secondary schools in Kenya in terms of 2022 KCSE performance results.
