Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna has called on leaders who gathered at the Muuna Farm declaration in Tseikuru to move on from past political differences and unite behind the common goal of making Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka the sixth president of Kenya.

The high-profile Wiper Democratic Movement leaders’ forum, themed OneNationOnePeople, brought together grassroots and national leaders in a show of unity and strategic dialogue ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

Speaking during the event, Nguna emphasized the need for unity and focus among opposition leaders, saying that only through a collective effort could they deliver victory at the ballot.

He urged the opposition not to be distracted by internal wrangles or past betrayals but instead work together with a clear vision for the country. “Let us not dwell on what went wrong; we have a duty to correct the future by putting Kalonzo at State House,” he said.

The event was to culminate in a national declaration endorsing Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka’s candidacy for the presidency in 2027, reaffirming the party’s commitment to national cohesion, democratic values, and transformative leadership.

Nguna added that opposition leaders will begin a vigorous countrywide campaign, ensuring no region is left behind, with the goal of building a strong, united front to propel Kalonzo to victory.
