Thousands of Kenyans thronged Kitui stadium on Sunday, October 15th 2023, to attend a crusade led by Mombasa-based evangelist pastor Wilfred Lai.
Pastor Lai, who is the founder and general overseer at the Jesus Celebration Centre(JCC ) in Mombasa city, drew a large crowd to Kitui – a feat that has only been accomplished by seasoned politicians.
The senior pastor however said the crowd was not managed by him but by the ‘grace of God.’ “Jesus used me as an instrument to reach out to the masses, it was by grace. I cannot pull such a crowd. I was send by God to Kitui in a mission and this one meeting in kitui will release seven years of blessings, Kitui will be among the richest counties in the country” he said.
City preacher received a warm reception from the Kitui Bishops and Pastors who had well planned the Crusades for Four days from 12th to 15th October 2023.
He also welcomed the believers to attend World Explosion which will be held at JCC headquarters Church in Bamburi, Mombasa County.
