Today Mwingi Central Law maker Gideon Mulyungi has ordered all police officers at Mumbuni police Post to be transferred immediately and new officers be ushered in to protect the people of Mumbuni location. “all police officers at Mumbuni police post must be transferred immediately for community to regain confidence with the station” said Dr. MULYUNGI.
The Wiper legislator passed his heartfelt condolences to the family of slain Felix Musili Sammy (26 Yrs) from Mumbuni Location, Kwa Nungu Sub-Location in Kauswini village, who was allegedly shot by a policeman.
Speaking to the Press, the MP observed that it is “imperative that the family gets justice and be compensated accordingly”.
He added that the rogue police officer must be arrested, interdicted and arraigned in court whilst asking IPOA to take up the matter to avoid “conflict of interest”.
