Professional Sheila Kalunga, Founder of Alpha and Safeguarding Coordinator for Africa, recently attended a high-level three-day Judo conference in Budapest, Hungary, aimed at advancing global Judo development and knowledge exchange.
While at the conference, she had the honor of meeting Mr. Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko, President of the Africa Judo Union and Vice President of the International Judo Federation. Their discussion focused on safeguarding initiatives and strategic ways to strengthen Judo development across the African continent.
Sheila took part in key sessions on the Judo in Schools Program, gaining valuable insights and contributing perspectives on how to make the program more relevant and impactful in Africa. Her input was warmly acknowledged and appreciated by global partners and stakeholders.
