Raila Issues 14 Days Ultimatum for Ruto to Lower Cost of Living

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga has has issued five demands to President William Ruto, among them lowering the cost of living in the country.

During the prayer meeting at Jeevanjee Gardens, Nairobi, the ODM leader gave the president 14 days to act on Azimio demands to avoid mas action.

The former prime minister asked the Kenya Kwanza administration to reduce the high cost of living and lower taxes. Raila also demanded that Ruto halt the ongoing process of reconstituting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The Azimio leader further said the IEBC servers should be opened and reputable firm appointed to audit the 2022 elections. “Servers must be opened and audited by a reputable firm failure to which we shall lead the people to restore their authority and voice,” Raila said.
