A sombre mood has engulfed the whole kitui central police fraternity and Kitui township community after Kitui’s Base commander Mr John Kimeu Muasya confirmed dead yesterday 16th March 2023, at around 8pm.
Speaking exclusively with Hopkin Reporter, Leah Kithei Ngutu , The police Commander has confirmed it tha Mr Muasya died at the Kitui referral hospital after being rushed to the facility. Efforts by medics to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
“I was saddened to hear that Mr Muasya lost his battle with pressure. All the Kitui Police fraternity is sympathizing with you friends and the family. Mr Muasya was a close friend and a great colleague, his loss has left the police fraternity shattered. losing someone close is a tragedy,” Madam Leah Said.
Mr Muasya has served the national police service for over 39 year and December 2023 was retiring from his loved job.
Hopkin Reporter has gathered that the body is now in tribute hospital Morgue at syongila Kitui central.
