The members of the public has criticized the remarks made by Mwingi Level IV Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Evans Mumo during the recent assembly tour to the facility on 24th March 2023, where he said that the hospital has no drugs , CT scan it’s not functioning and the hospital Morgue in bad state. The public stated that such statements was hot air and the facility has drugs.
The latest negative remarks from the Medical Superintendent are said to draw attention for more allocation of county funds to the hospital only not knowing that the all county facilities will have equal distribution of resources despite the med sup yapping on social media platforms.
The members of public are now demanding the Medical Superintendent to come up publicly and answer following questions:
1 . Where was He during the former “Mbee Nzei” regime where huge budgets was allocated to Mwingi Hospital and no touchable development on record yet he didn’t raise any alarm during that time.
2. How was he trusted to lead such a sensitive facility with questionable intergrity issues and breach chapter six of the kenyan constitution which lead to his dismissal and attempted frauds to pay for undelivered Anti snake venom.
The public trashed the Medical Superintendent remarks during the assembly visit and lauded the governor Malombe government for the consignment of drugs already delivered and other efforts to restore health sector to help the great people of Kitui.
During the latest Launch of drugs anti snake venom was one of them not like the one of the said med sup who intended to fraud the government by procuring anti venom which was hot air.
