The vetting exercise of Chief Officers nominees has been concluded today with all 26 Chief Officers appearing before various committees for the exercise.The sectoral committees will now retreat for report writing after which they will table their reports before the House for approval.The last lot to be vetted this afternoon were; Aggrey Kamba – drugs and medical suppliesKennedy Mwendwa – polytechnics, vocational centres and home craft centersHenry nyamai – energy, minerals and natural resourses.

Thereafter the committees will retreat for report writing from Wednesday 1st February 2023 until Sunday 5th February 2023. The House will then have special sittings on 6th and 7th February 2023 to debate the reports and make appropriate decisions.
