TURNOUT as Governor Malombe’s administration Engages Residents on CLIDP & Pro-poor

Kitui Deputy Governor H.E Augustine W. Kanani addressing leaders from Miambani Ward in Kitui central sub county attending Ward Level Validation meeting for FY2022/2023 Community Level Infrastructure Development Programme (CLIDP), Pro Poor bursary plan and the strategic areas proposed for sand dams (Mingeeto) construction.

The DG urged the members to choose people with leadership qualities and capacity to oversight and protect all the projects which will be done by the County Government in different parts of their Ward. “And you county officers leading this exercise, kindly allow this members to decide the projects which they want Governor Malombe’s administration to do for them, because equitable developments cannot be achieved without proper participation of the community in planning, implementation and operationalization of projects” DG Kanani added.

At Miambani Ward, the exercise is headed by Kitui Municipality manager Job Muisyo, Trade Deputy Director Francis Kea, and Miambani Ward Administrator Boniface Kaseve. The exercise is ongoing at all 40 Wards of Kitui County.
