“We are Committed to work with Developmental Partners” Says DG Kanani

The Administration of H.E Governor Dr Julius Malombe, is keen on working closely with USAID and other development partners in implementing initiatives that promote the sustainable growth of Agriculture, Water, Livestock, affordable Health, as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs), thereby improving food security, affordable Health care, Livestock development, clean water, incomes and livelihoods of Kitui people.

This was said by Kitui Deputy Governor H.E. Augustine Kanani earlier today, when he presided over a closing ceremony of a 3 day consultative meeting held to prepare a joint work plan for FY2023/2024 at a Kitui hotel.

The joint work plan between the Kitui County Government and the USAID implementing partners among them Resilience Learning Activity, will help in implementing a joint mode of monitoring of activities financed By both the County Government and USAID partners.

The meeting brought together officers from various County Ministries and USAID’s Development Partners, to share experiences, achievements and challenges, from the previous quarters besides deliberating on better approaches alongside other key areas of collaboration and partnership.

The event was also attended by the USAID- South Eastern Kenya(S.E.K) Manager Kelvin Musikoyo, USAID-S.E.K Counties officer Titus Kyalo and a good number of County directors, deputy directors and Assistant directors.
