Kitui Majority Leader and Kyuso Ward MCA, Hon. Munyoki Mwinzi, has firmly assured the residents of Kitui that the Committee on Appointments is committed to delivering a board for the Kitui Municipality.
Amid growing concerns and speculations, Hon. Mwinzi emphasized that the committee’s primary objective is to establish a functional board that will effectively serve the municipality’s needs. He stressed that despite the rigorous scrutiny and interrogations of the nomination process, the committee is focused on fulfilling its duty to the people of Kitui by ensuring the board is constituted without undue delays.
Hon. Mwinzi highlighted that the committee understands the critical role of the Kitui Municipality Board in driving local governance, urban development, and service delivery.
