Narc Kenya party leader who is also the former Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential running mate Martha Karua has met with the Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi during the Western Women Forum at Masinde Muliro University in Kakamega.
They met on Saturday during the golden jubilee ceremony of the Bishop Emeritus of Kakamega Philip Sulumeti at Bukuhngu Stadium, Kakamega.The two are among the guests of honour invited to grace the event.
Martha Karua has already confirmed that she arrived at the event on Saturday morning and will also be representing her boss the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance party leader Raila Odinga.
Earlier, the super Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi through his spokesperson Kibisu Kabatesi, said the spiritual life of the people of Kakamega and Kisumu is anchored on the Bishop, who dedicated his life as their shepherd.He celebrated Sulumeti saying he has achieved excellency as Bishop of the Catholic Church of Kenya.
This is the first time that the two if them are meeting since the elections where His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto won defeating the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader Raila Odinga. Martha Karua, together with her leader Raila Odinga, has adamantly maintained they won the 2022 presidential election hence President Ruto and his team should resign.
Later Martha joined The Wiper National Executive Council retreat in Naivasha for two day convention that kicked off today.
Adding that “Wiper is the most disciplined party in the country at the moment”.
