A notorious drug trafficker, Eunice Wangui Kimani, has been apprehended by detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) following a tip-off from vigilant members of the public. The suspect was arrested at her residence in Kandara, Murang’a County, where authorities conducted a successful raid that uncovered a significant cache of narcotics.

During the operation, officers recovered 13 gunny bags filled with bhang weighing approximately 225 kilograms, with an estimated street value of Sh6.7 million. The search also yielded packaging materials believed to be used for distribution, suggesting that Wangui was part of a highly organized and well-established drug trafficking syndicate operating in the region.

Eunice Wangui Kimani is currently in police custody and is undergoing formal processing as authorities prepare to arraign her in court. The recovered narcotics have been secured and documented as key exhibits in the case, as law enforcement continues to intensify efforts to dismantle illicit drug networks across the country.
