Kitui West incoming Member of Parliament and County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Lands and Urban Development, Generali Fredrick Kimanga, on Saturday graced the colorful retirement ceremony of Warrant Officer (I) Danvic Titus Kisoo. The event, filled with gratitude and celebration, brought together family members, colleagues, friends, and senior officers of the Kenya Air Force, all united to honor a man who has faithfully served the nation with distinction, integrity, and devotion.

In his remarks, Generali Kimanga lauded Warrant Officer Kisoo for his long and outstanding service to the Kenya Air Force, describing him as a patriot and a man of deep faith who served the Republic with unwavering commitment. He noted that Kisoo’s remarkable discipline, humility, and leadership had left a lasting mark on both the military fraternity and the wider community. “Today we celebrate a man who has not only defended our skies but has also lived a life that inspires service, loyalty, and faith in God,” Kimanga stated.

The Lands CECM further noted that the legacy of Warrant Officer Kisoo goes beyond his years in uniform, highlighting that his story is a testimony of perseverance and purpose. He encouraged young people to emulate Kisoo’s example of diligence and integrity, stressing that true service to the nation begins with commitment to duty and respect for others. Generali Kimanga also took the opportunity to thank the Kenya Defence Forces for their continued sacrifice and professionalism in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and peace.

The ceremony was marked by prayers, speeches, and emotional tributes from colleagues and family members who spoke of Kisoo’s deep sense of responsibility, mentorship, and faith. Quoting from 2 Timothy 4:7, many described him as a man who has “fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.” The atmosphere was one of thanksgiving — a fitting farewell to a man who dedicated his life to service and inspired many along the way.

As Warrant Officer (I) Kisoo begins his new chapter in retirement, Generali Kimanga wished him blessings, peace, and fulfillment. He reminded him that retirement is not the end of service but the beginning of a new mission — one that focuses on faith, family, and community development. The event closed with applause and heartfelt appreciation, marking the end of an era for a distinguished officer and the beginning of a new journey guided by grace and purpose.
